A new contender on the Binance Smart Chain emerges after a 12-month campaign to normalize anonymous online spending. The team behind DKYC (Don’t Know Your Customer) combines their development expertise, loyal userbase, prepaid cards, and fintech utilities into a new venture named ‘ShadowFi.’ A spokesperson from the team stated that the evolution is “important to convey a clearer message for our contactless, reloadable, anonymous cards set to launch in Q4”. The cards will be accepted online and at the point of service worldwide, without the need to divulge personal information such as full name, address, driver’s license information, live selfie, or phone number. ShadowFi is set to offer its unique fintech services to the public via web3 using a novel and decentralized Platform as a Service (PaaS) structure.

The team contends that its offerings stand against surveillance capitalism. Corporations incessantly track consumer data for profit in this new and disturbing trend, and this data is rampantly prone to misuse and abuse. With ShadowFi, the spokesperson noted, “private user data is kept where it should be, in the shadows.” In addition, users can rest assured that their use of the service is automatically AML compliant, thanks to the innovative features integrated into the platform.
The ShadowFi launch begins with a presale event on 31 August 2022, followed by public trading on PancakeSwap on 1 September 2022. The team brings a liquidity pool of over USD$300,000 into the launch to ensure a healthy starting market capitalization.
