How could ZHAOWEI Micro-drive System work in a large scan machine in a CT or MRI test since it’s very small with a maximum diameter of 38mm? In a CT exam, people are often required to lie down still inside the machine, and the image of the internal human body structures is generated while the CT machine is operating. This process normally takes about 20 to 30 minutes, but the exact scanning time for a certain body part may only accounts for about 10 seconds. The scanning speed is so fast that it requires precise control of the scanning angle. “Accurate CT imaging diagnosis is the prerequisite for accurate treatment. Low Noise Gearbox Help Relieve Patients Anxiety in Medical Diagnosis

Except for the precise scanning angle control, CT noise is also one of the major factors affecting the resolution of CT images, as well as the patient’s experience. Normal CT or MRI scans are carried out in a relatively confined machine, patients can easily feel anxious since all they can hear is the operation noise generated by the machine that almost covers all of their body during the long exam period. To address this issue, ZHAOWEI has optimized the transmission structures with its comprehensive gearbox design platform.
